Desktop features

Lom's window has three columns: navigation and your task list on the left, the conversation in the middle, and the workspace on the right. This page goes through each feature.

The interface

WhereWhat it does
Computer / Phone at the top leftChoose between working on the computer and managing a particular phone (its sessions, skills, persona, memory and schedules). The + beside it pairs a new phone.
New taskStarts a new task (⌘N).
Scheduled tasksTasks that run automatically on a schedule.
skillhubThe skill marketplace: browse, install and upload skills.
OPC teams OPC团队Agents on your phones and your computer working as a team; see OPC teams.
Recent tasksYour task history; search with ⌘K.
Workspace on the rightPreview shows the web pages and documents being made, Files shows the work folder, and Phone shows a phone's live screen.
Agent switcher at the top leftDecides whether a new task goes to Lom or to another agent such as Codex CLI.

Tasks and conversations

  • Work folder: choose it above the input box. Lom only reads and writes files inside this folder.
  • Attachments: click + at the bottom-left of the input box to add files or images, or just drag them in.
  • Slash commands: type / to open the command menu (MCP, skills and more); type @ to mention a phone.
  • Stop: click the stop button where the send button was, or press Esc.

Permissions

The shield button at the bottom-left of the input box sets what the commander may do on your computer (remote control of phones isn't limited by this setting):

LevelBehavior
Ask each timeAsks you before running any command or changing any file.
Auto-edit filesReads and writes files automatically; asks before running commands.
Full autoDoes everything automatically inside the chosen folder.
Read-only planningOnly reads and proposes a plan; changes nothing.

Models

  • Built-in models: Lom Pro (the commander's default), Lom Max (the strongest) and Lom Mini (the phone default, light on credits). Available once you sign in; billed in credits.
  • Your own key: Settings → Models & credits → Add model. Choose a provider, enter the API address and key, search for a model name and mark whether it can read images. Lom tests the connection once when you save. Calls use no credits.
  • Default model: Settings → Models & credits → Default model sets separate defaults for the commander and for phone agents.
  • Images: Lom Pro and Max read images directly. Models that can't call an image tool that asks Lom Pro to look for them (billed in credits).

Directing phones

  1. On the new task page, tick the phones under Phones in this task. You can pick several.
  2. State the goal, for example "What screen is Phone 1 on right now?" or "Open Xiaohongshu and summarize today's comments for me."
  3. The commander reads the screen, taps, types and opens apps, or hands the whole job to the phone's agent, then reads back the real result to check it.
  4. When you stop the commander, the phone tasks it started stop too.
NoteTasks created before an upgrade don't have the phone tools; start a new task. The phone must be online with accessibility on; see Phone setup.

Live screen

Workspace on the right → Phone: pick a phone and turn on screen refresh. You can change quality (480 / 720 / 1080), go full screen, pause, or save the current screenshot. The picture refreshes about once per second from screenshots; it isn't a video stream. On mobile data, turn on the data saver under Settings → Phones & connections.

Other agents

  1. Settings → Agents lists the agents found on your computer (Codex CLI, Claude Code, Kimi, Pi, CodeBuddy, Gemini CLI…). Testing a connection only starts the agent and shakes hands; it sends no conversation.
  2. Add the ones you use often to the switcher, and switch at the top left. You can also add a custom agent.
  3. A task given to one of them uses the model and sign-in configured in its own CLI and spends no Lom credits. The bottom-right of the input box shows its current model; click to change it. Some CLIs apply the change from the next turn, and Lom tells you when that happens.
  4. External agents can't direct phones themselves; to work with phones, use an OPC team.

SkillHub and credits

  • Discover: search or browse by category, and read each skill's description and file list. Official Lom skills are listed first.
  • Install: on the detail page, choose to install on the computer or on an online phone. A paid skill first tells you it needs N credits, and the button reads "Pay N credits and install". Skills you've bought can be reinstalled any time. Packages are checked against their SHA-256 before installing, and scripts inside a skill never run automatically.
  • Upload: submit a zip (it must contain SKILL.md, up to 10 MB). It goes live after review. You can upload new versions, see review results and report problem skills.
  • Installed: view and uninstall the skills on your computer. A phone's skills are managed after switching to that phone on the left (enable, disable, uninstall).

Scheduled tasks

Scheduled tasks on the left → new: give it a name, what to do, who runs it (the commander or a specific phone) and when it repeats. A phone's scheduled tasks are stored and run on the phone itself. Use Run now 立即运行 to try one, and check the result of every run.
