Your computer commands. Your phones do the work.
Built with Rust at its core
Lom is a desktop AI workspace and the AI commander that lives on your computer. Say what you want, and it reads your phone screens, taps and opens apps, and hands work to the agent on each phone. It brings in desktop agents like Codex, Claude Code and Kimi too, then checks the results and hands them to you.

An AI tutor that asks good questions. An AI team that runs your phones.
Turtle-soup questions: a child only taps Yes or No, and the AI guides them step by step to what they want to make. The computer as commander: one sentence gets two phones replying to comments and posting a video at the same time, then it reads back the real results, reports, and can repeat the job every day. OPC teams: Gemini writes the copy, Codex controls the computer, Claude Code reviews it, and a phone publishes.
How it works
One commander for all your phones.
Lom on your computer does the thinking and assigning. Lom Agent on each phone reads the screen and does the tapping. Once they are paired by QR code, messages travel encrypted through a cloud relay, so a phone out on mobile data still takes orders.

Phones
Every phone is
an agent that gets work done.
Lom Agent on the phone can run tasks by itself. Once it is connected, the commander can also look at the screen and act directly, or hand over the whole job and read back the real result to check it.
- Live screen: watch the phone in the workspace on the right; change quality, go full screen or save a screenshot.
- Direct control: tap, swipe, type, go back, go home, open apps.
- Delegate to the phone: the phone's agent finishes the job and the commander reads back the result. "Received" never counts as done.
- Persona, memory, skills, schedules: manage them on the computer; they sync both ways with the phone.
- File transfer: send files between computer and phone, up to 100 MB each, with integrity checks.
- Stays connected: a foreground service, heartbeats and automatic reconnects keep the phone online, even with the screen off.
Phone agents
The official phone app, and third-party Mika too.
After a phone is paired with the computer by QR code, it reports what it can do, and the computer shows features to match what that phone really supports. The integration protocol is public: the official phone app uses it, the Lom edition of Mika uses it, and you can follow the docs to build your own phone app.
Lom Assistant · official phone app
Reads the screen, taps, opens apps, and can run a whole task on its own. Persona, memory, skills and scheduled tasks sync both ways with the computer, and files can be exchanged. Download
Mika · Lom editionThird party
A Lom edition of the open-source project Mika: it pairs with the computer by QR code, can be a phone member of a team that the leader assigns work to, and can be installed alongside the original Mika. Download Mika

Pairing, relay, encrypted envelopes, RPC methods and test vectors are all documented publicly, with no private code needed. Read the integration guide
- Features follow the phone's abilities: a phone declares which methods it implements with
device.capabilities, and the computer hides or greys out what it does not support, such as skills, schedule editing, sub-agents, document editing and attachments. - Older phones keep working: for a phone without this declaration, every entry is shown as before.
- Unsupported means unsupported: a feature the phone has not implemented returns a clear “not supported”, which the computer shows as is and never treats as done.
Personal assistant
Everyday things,
handed to an assistant who knows you.
A personal assistant has its own conversations and memory, runs scheduled tasks, connects to Feishu and WeChat, and can hand work to your OPC team and bring the results back.
- Its own conversations and memory: each assistant works within its own permissions and is kept apart from team members' sessions.
- Hands work to the team: an assistant can send work to the team leader (the default) or to a chosen member, and a reminder returns to the assistant's session when that round ends.
- Context managed by Jev: in development, see “Coming soon” on the right.
Jev helps find capabilities
When a personal assistant looks for a capability to use, it can ask Jev to observe the candidates and score their relevance, and to run a semantic lookup when a text search finds nothing. Only the current query and short descriptions of the candidates are sent, never conversation history, file paths or keys. The result is a suggestion only: it does not decide permissions and nothing runs automatically. It is off by default and open only to pilot accounts.
Context managed by Jev
A personal assistant's context will be managed by Jev. This is still in development, with no release date yet, and is not in the current version. The design draws on mu.
OPC teams
A one-person company, a whole AI team.
Put the agents on your phones and your computer into one team, with Lom as the leader. You only state the goal. The first thing the leader does with any order is map the team: it finds out what every member can do and writes it into the team memory. Then it assigns, checks and reports.
Map
Phones: online or not, battery and network, which apps are installed and signed in, whether accessibility is on. Desktop agents: noted by strength.
Assign
Split the job by the map: the phone signed in to Meituan orders food, Codex CLI works the computer, Kimi watches the video.
Check
Read back every member's real result. If something isn't finished, follow up or reassign; "received" never counts as done.
Report
Hand you a tidy summary. Anything that reaches the outside world, like paying, ordering, publishing or messaging, always asks you first.
# Food delivery squad · updated 10-16 11:20 ## Phone 1 (REDMI) - Online · battery 82% · Wi-Fi · accessibility on - Signed in: Meituan, Xiaohongshu, WeChat → can order food, run errands, post notes - Not signed in: Taobao ## Codex CLI - Strong; good at controlling the computer, coding and editing files ## Kimi - Good at watching videos and reading long documents and web pages ## CodeBuddy - Inexpensive; good for batch work
Team group chatDesktop 0.3.8 and later
One timeline,
to see how the whole team works.
OPC teams now have a “group chat” view: you, the leader, every member and your personal assistant on one timeline. Whoever you @-mention is the only one who receives the message.
- @ someone, they receive it: a message goes only to the members you picked, once each. With no @, it goes to the leader by default and is never broadcast to everyone.
- Assignments and reports are visible: what the leader gave to whom, and each member's report when done, appear on the timeline and say which task they belong to.
- Your assistant is in it too: work the assistant sends out and the results it gets back appear as well.
- Open any member for details: the timeline is built from the real sessions with no separate copy, and switching views or reconnecting never sends anything twice.
- Stop any time: the “Stop team” control stays available.
- Phone membersComing soon: for now the leader can assign work to a phone and the result returns to the leader through the phone's receipt; @-mentioning a phone member directly in the group chat and showing phone progress there are still in development.
The collaboration chain
From one sentence to the summary: this chain in the group chat.
@Leader
In the group chat, you @-mention the leader and state the goal.
Assign
The leader follows the capability map and assigns work to desktop agents, and can also assign it to phones (the official phone app or Mika).
Report
Desktop agents report to the leader in the group chat when done; a phone's result returns to the leader through the phone's receipt.
Summarize
The leader checks the results and summarizes them for you. For outward actions like payments, publishing or direct messages, it asks you first.
This is not a separate workflow editor: there are no nodes to drag, just this chain of collaboration happening in the group chat. Showing phone members in the group chat is Coming soon
Desktop agents
Codex, Claude Code, Kimi…
ready to use.
Switch agents in the top-left corner and the new task goes to that agent. It uses the model and sign-in already set up in its own CLI, so it doesn't spend Lom credits.
- Auto-detected: Settings → Agents lists the agents installed on your computer. Testing a connection only shakes hands; it doesn't start a conversation.
- Its own model: the bottom-right of the input box shows the agent's current model; click to change it.
- Team and group-chat members: in an OPC team, the leader assigns work to them by strength, and they report back in the group chat when done.
SkillHub
A skill marketplace,
paid in credits.
Install a skill on the computer or a phone and it's ready to use. Official skills are free or 10 credits; buy once and reinstall any time. You can also upload your own skills, which go live after review.
- Official skills built in: Xiaohongshu notes, viral headlines, short video scripts, comment replies, content calendars, weekly reports.
- Clear prices up front: the button reads "Pay N credits and install", and if you're short it tells you by how much.
- Safe installs: every package is checked against its SHA-256, and installing never runs scripts automatically.

What you can do
Say one sentence. It gets to work.
Everything below is something you can really say to Lom. Copy one, change it to your own job, and use your own phones and folders.
Make things on your computer
- Build a websiteBuild a personal portfolio site in this folder, with a live preview on the right.
- Design coversTurn topics.md into three Xiaohongshu covers, 3:4, warm colors.
- Tidy a spreadsheetSort the invoices in this folder into one spreadsheet.
- Write a scriptWrite a 30-second video script reviewing this autumn's lipsticks.
Put your phones to work
- Reply to commentsPhone 1, reply to today's comments one by one and collect the after-sales ones for me.
- Post a noteOnce it's approved, open Xiaohongshu and post this note.
- Check on themWhat screen is each phone on, and how much battery is left?
- Order lunchPhone 2, open Meituan and find a lunch under 30 yuan.
Work as a team
- Content studioGemini writes the copy, Codex makes the cover, Claude Code reviews, a phone posts it.
- Real-device testingAfter Codex finishes the feature, have two phones install the build and run through the test checklist.
- Research in parallelThree members research this at once; show me where they agree and where they conflict.
- Mind the shopTwice a day, sort new inquiries, auto-reply to common ones and leave the unsure ones to me.
Let it run by itself
- Daily repliesEvery day at 20:00, reply to new comments.
- Scheduled check-insEvery 30 minutes, glance at both phones' screens and progress, and tell me if something is wrong.
- Weekly reportEvery Monday morning, gather last week's numbers into a report in the folder.
- Runs with the computer offScheduled tasks live on the phone, so they still run on time when the computer is off.
Learn and get started
- Turtle-soup questionsSay "I want to make something fun"; the AI asks yes/no statements and you just tap Yes or No.
- Pick up old chatsDrag in yesterday's Codex conversation and carry on from there.
- Ask on the sideAsk a quick side question without interrupting the main task, then drag it back.
- Show it a pictureDrop a screenshot into the input box and ask what's wrong with this screen.
FAQ
Before you start, you may wonder.
Does it cost anything?
The software is free to download and use. Built-in models use credits and new accounts get some free; you can also bring your own API key. The free plan connects 1 phone.
Do I need a new phone?
No. An old Android phone at home works: install Lom Agent, scan the QR code and it's on the team. Android 8.0 or later.
Do the phone and computer need the same Wi-Fi?
No. Both connect to a cloud relay, so a phone on mobile data still takes orders. Messages are end-to-end encrypted and the relay only forwards ciphertext.
Will it tap around my phone at random?
It only does what you ask: tap, swipe, type, go back and open apps, never arbitrary commands. Anything that reaches the outside world, like posting, paying or messaging, asks you first. Payment and banking screens can't be captured, and it reports that honestly.
Are my data and keys safe?
Your own API keys are encrypted on your computer and never uploaded. Computer-to-phone traffic is encrypted with keys made at pairing. The action log stays on your computer and holds no command text or keys.
Is the Lom edition of Mika the same as the original Mika?
No. The Lom edition is a modification of the open-source Mika (Apache-2.0) that adds the ability to pair with Lom Desktop and keeps the original author's credit. It is released by Lom, not by the original author, and both versions can be installed side by side.
The app won't open after installing?
On a Mac, remove the download quarantine marker in Terminal; see the FAQ for the steps. The Windows release is currently paused.

Lom is going open source
The desktop interface is open source on GitHub under AGPL-3.0: rfdiosuao/lom-desktop. More modules will follow after a security review. Read the code, open issues and send pull requests to help make Lom better, and if you find it useful, give it a star.
